Overview
Most people want the Serengeti and worry about the drive. This trip flies you into the park, so you wake up already in the wildlife, then finishes with a full morning in Ngorongoro Crater.
It is a short trip for people with less time and a bigger budget. Longer trips such as the 5-day northern safari give you more, but this is a strong choice for a quick, high-impact stay.
A scheduled flight from Arusha to an airstrip in the central Serengeti, about 90 minutes. You are met by your guide and start a game drive right away, with lunch at your camp and an evening drive.
Day2A full day in the SerengetiSerengeti National Park
A morning and afternoon on the plains and rivers, looking for big cats, elephants and the herds. An optional balloon flight can be added at dawn.
Day3Fly to Manyara and drive to NgorongoroNgorongoro Conservation Area
A morning game drive, then a flight to Manyara and a drive up to the crater rim. After a descent and picnic lunch on the floor, we drive back to Arusha or your hotel.

Is the flight weight limit strict?
Yes. Light aircraft usually limit you to about 15 kg in a soft bag. We send exact allowances when you book.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. Every safari can be adapted: dates, lodges, number of nights and the parks you visit. Tell us what matters and we rebuild the plan.
What is the best time to go?
Wildlife viewing is good all year. The dry season from June to October is easiest for game drives, while the green season has fewer visitors and lower prices.
