A two-hour cruise on a traditional sail-powered dhow.
Soft drinks, fruit and live taarab music on board on many departures.
The best view of the Stone Town skyline as the light fades.
Overview
Dhows have carried spices, ivory and people across the Indian Ocean for more than a thousand years. A sunset cruise is a gentle way to end a day and one of the best photography moments on the island.
It is popular with couples and families, and pairs well with a day at the beach or a Stone Town walk.
