Overview
Saadani is the only park in Tanzania that meets the Indian Ocean. Lions, giraffe and buffalo share the coast with green turtles, and the Wami River adds a boat safari to the list.
It is a good weekend from Dar es Salaam, and it works well after a longer safari when you want a soft landing. See Saadani National Park and Bagamoyo.
