Dive or snorkel walls and drop-offs along the Pemba Channel.
A quiet island of clove plantations and small fishing villages.
A chance to see reef sharks, turtles and big schools of fish.
Overview
Pemba is greener and quieter than Zanzibar, with steeper coastlines and famous diving. The Pemba Channel is deep and the reefs are healthy, and only a few boats visit each site.
Divers of all levels are welcome, and snorkellers can join the boat. Read more on Pemba Island.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be certified?
Certified divers can dive the channel. Snorkellers can join the boat but the deeper sites are only for divers.
When is the best time for the beach?
The drier months, roughly June to October and December to March, are the most popular. April and May bring heavy rains and lower prices.
Can we add a safari?
Yes. Safari and beach is our most popular combination. Ask us to add three to six days on the mainland before or after your beach stay.
