Park and conservation fees
National parks charge daily fees per person. These make up a large share of the cost and differ between parks.
Accommodation
Budget camps, mid-range lodges and luxury tented camps sit at very different price points. Location matters too, since a lodge inside a park costs more than one on the edge.
Season
Peak months in the dry season and around the holidays cost more. Green-season travel often costs less.
Vehicle and guide
